Very, very satisfied with the new 21 SEER Trane A/C &
Heating Unit that was recently installed into my residence
by Dave Broussard and his employees.
Several items that I would like to address are as follows:
As always, price is important when making this kind of
decision; as to how much we are willing to pay. Naturally,
we usually look at the low dollar cost for the product as
our first choice. However, in this case, after looking over
several bid prices that I had received, for this unit, from
various companies, I concluded my investment cost would be
completed properly and safely by selecting Dave Broussard,
as the contractor.
Dave's employees actually completed the removal of the 30
year old unit, installed the new unit and changed out the
old duct work, in the attic (in less than 2 days) in the
heat of the summer! They did a great job in a safe and
timely manner. The actual unit, since being installed at the
end of August 2010 has proven to be a great choice!
The nuts and bolts are:
Very, very quiet operation (fan starts slowly and and then
speeds up)
Much lower monthly energy usage (KW hrs used)
Cleaner house because of the Trane Clean air Effects (no
dust)
Stable temperatures throughout the house (even distribution
of air)
Less run time on the unit to maintain temperatures (both A/C
and heat)
Timely response on any questions that I may have had about
this unit
